Opening cooperation opportunities between Thai Nguyen and Poland

On September 14, 2018, Mr. Vu Hong Bac, Vice-secretary, Chairman of the People's Committee of the Thai Nguyen Province had a meeting with the members of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency delegation based in Vietnam to talk about the possibilities of cooperation and find out more information about some investment sectors. The meeting was also attended by the managers of some departments, offices, sectors and companies belonging to the province.

During the meeting, Mr. Vu Hong Bac presented the policy and potential of the Thai Nguyen province. Currently, the region first of all wants to attract investments in such sectors as: high technology agriculture, organic farming; ecological farming; industrial projects, especially the high-tech industry; tourism; education.

 

Mr. Piotr Harasimowicz, representative of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency based in Vietnam, presented the cooperation with the Thai Nguyen Province in the sectors of: tea export; technical training; information technology; shipbuilding; high technology agriculture, food production.

 

After reviewing the investment policy, Mr. Vu Hong Bac wanted the Polish Investment and Trade Agency to become interested in introducing the Thai Nguyen tea product to the Polish market. In addition, the province is also very interested in cooperation in the fields of high technology agriculture, organic farming, personnel training and always has a favorable policy for companies investing in these sectors.

 

Before the meeting with the provincial office, the delegation met with the Women's Union, the Businesswoman of the province, as well as with several companies in the region. On 15 September, the delegation will also visit some industrial parks to find out more about investment opportunities in the area.
